Online Divorce
For many couples the procedural aspect of a divorce can be very straightforward; it is usually the financial aspects or those involving children which are more problematic.
Our online divorce package is likely to be best suited to couples where both spouses agree that divorce is the next step, are willing to cooperate with each other during the divorce process, and there are unlikely to be any issues surrounding the divorce itself. The online service provides a document drafting service together with support and assistance for uncontested divorces where there should be no need for any Court Hearings. This would not be suitable for a defended divorce or where there are major issues arising from the divorce itself.
Whether you decide to use our bespoke divorce service or the online version, it is important to remember that this relates just to the actual divorce itself (called the "Principal Suit"). If you and your spouse cannot agree on the arrangements for any children you have, or on financial matters, then more detailed advice from us will be needed on these separate aspects. It may still be possible for you to use our online service for the actual divorce and we will discuss with you directly the additional work that would be needed to deal with children or financial aspects. This will be specific to your own particular circumstances and tailored to your own needs. The additional work can be carried out on an hourly rate or fixed fee basis.
