Whether you seek to initiate divorce proceedings against your spouse, or whether you are responding to proceedings, provided neither of you objects to getting the divorce and the Court agrees to grant a divorce without question (which happens in the vast majority of cases) then the proceedings will be uncontested.

In such circumstances, we can offer a fixed fee as follows:-

Please note that the fixed fees are quoted for standard, straightforward divorces only. In certain circumstances, it may be necessary for you to meet additional costs and expenses if any complex issues arise, or if personal service of documents is required at any stage. We will advise you if it becomes necessary to incur any such further costs or expenses in the course of the proceedings.

Please also note that the fixed fees cover the divorce only (i.e. the legal dissolution of the marriage) and do not cover work required to deal with any ancillary issues regarding children, property or finances. If you need further advice in respect of such issues, then we will advise you of the costs which may be involved and of your lawyer’s hourly rates.
